I love this. I won't lie I did laugh at some of the dark humor bits, but the horror is great. Very dystopian. I wish you had a picture collage of jesus with a sandwich. If you ever put that up there let me know. Well done. Also, incredibly relatable.

I’m glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for including me in the workshop. It was nice to just write with no strings attached.

I’m glad I’m not eating my breakfast right now -gwup gwup!

Entertaining, thought-provoking… here on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean it feels entirely possible in a Black Mirror way that this could happen if science allowed it and politics careered off the rails and took a turn back on itself down a tunnel towards something even more unspeakable.

A well-spent 15 minutes!

Thank you Zivah! Honestly this was such a blast and I’m glad it brought you a couple of laughs. It was definitely a comedic critique on American politics and religion in the most absurd way.

This was dark and satirical in all the best ways. There were funny moments, and there were also plenty of moments that made me think. Really loved this!

Thanks EJ! The scariest part is it’s just a caricature of the current state of affairs.

I’m honestly not too sure either, but it was fun to let ideas flow judgement free. It kind of feels like a caricature of religion and American politics. The red cap is an allusion to right wing extremism and Greg the Fetus (a literal monster of cells who can only Gwup) gets more recognition and support than Emmett, who is a victim of a school shooting. Then Charlie and his free lunch is rooted in ethics. Charlie, who is just a kid in the need of a sack lunch, is somehow the center for a religious holy war between ACTUAL JESUS and the westernized interpretation of Jesus. Definitely a political acid trip.
